HOUSE EXTENSION AND POOL

Project

We were originally appointed to work on this Grade II Listed dwelling, a former Vicarage in the village of Brafferton. The house had been previously extended with conservatories and other additions in the late 80's.

We removed these unsympathetic additions, replacing them with contemporary extensions using a limited palette of materials. These materials consisted mainly of copper and large expanses of glazing with some rendered area.

So rationalising the plans to link the house to a new study and opening up the kitchen to a new garden room, providing panoramic views of the extensive gardens.

A further glazed link provided a new rear entrance & access to the utility room.

At first floor we provided a generous principal bedroom with large dressing room and spacious bathroom. All other bedrooms were then upgraded and provided with individual bathrooms.

Later we were asked to provide swimming pool within an outbuilding including a showering and changing area.
